Private Well Ownership

Helpful information about private well ownership.

When purchasing a home in Indian Hills – find out if the house is served with Indian Hills Water District “public water” or if there are any private wells on the property.   If the home is on a private well, always request water test results to include Nitrates.  

EPA indicates a safe Nitrate level is less than 10 mg/L https://www.epa.gov/ground-water-and-drinking-water/table-regulated-drinking-water-contaminants
